Now Playing Tracks

You two gotta do something about that—

Two of my friends recently broke up and it was a shame when they did because I liked them both and I liked them together. Anyways, the guy posted some lyrics to a Fun. song on his facebook as his status (I’ll forgive him the err, because sometimes people just feel so much they have to post music lyrics) and the girl posted the next line in the song 24 hours later.

And what I’m saying is, y’all gotta fucking do something about that. Missing each other and shit, just fucking say “Alright, I fucked up, I wanna get back together.”

Shit, be happy, fools!

In other news, Davis is pretty sweet. Tomorrow I start work. Yikes.

I’m excited for the summer. I’ll have work. Then gym. Then dinner. Then reading on my new Nook (whaaaaaaat!? I bought a Nook Simple Touch, the one with a front-lit screen, a couple of days ago. It’s awesome) and hanging out with my roommates. My roommates are pretty sweet so far. I went to an A’s game with one today, along with her brother and his fiancé. I also played beer pong last night with some of her other friends. She also bakes regularly. And is really excited to have a Wii in the apartment (her brother lent it to her for the summer).

I cannot describe how excited I am to have time to read again. I’ve already started Infinite Jest and I like it so far. Next up is Count of Monte Cristo (because apparently it’s seriously just that good!? Cool). Then who knows. Probably Game of Thrones because no one will ever shut up about it. And I like the show. I’m just so excited to read again. Good lord, reading! READING! YES.

Also, super stoked for the Alameda County Fair and for the eventual state fair and for Outside Lands and that day festival in Monterey! Wait. Shit. My summer is actually gonna be really fucking dope. And Christine is visiting!? So are a few Stanford folks! And I’m gonna be in the city when I can to hang out with friends there, too.

Anyways, I’m excited.
